I finally started using this bar after finishing my last shampoo bottle recently. The first wash was just amazing. My hair felt moisturized and clean without any of the natural oils being striped. The 2nd and 3rd time results just got better and better. Ingredients are all natural and beneficial to produce and maintain healthy,clean and moisturized hair. For best results do not leave sitting in water. Allow to dry out completely in between uses by leaving on soap dish. Once the bar gets too small to hold comfortably in your hand simply place the remaining pieces of the bar into the cotton bag and use it to lather the product until the very last drop.

To Enjoy: Lather bar in the palm of your hand or directly on scalp.

Why is it a bar?

Solid shampoo allows for you to get all of the cleaning agents, beautiful oils and wonderful scent all in a concentrated bar. This is what shampoo looks like without being sold any water in a big plastic bottle.

Will it lather like a regular shampoo?

Yes, our beautiful coconut based bars lather beautifully.

Will the bar dissolve?

Yes if left in water for long periods of time. Please use provided soap dish or other elevated surface.

How long does it last?

4-6 months. We use a gentle eco preservative that gives the herbal hair wash a 1 year shelf life. Fragrance will reduce over time.

Is this a protein treatment?

No, we use a gentle protein in hydrolyzed wheat protein. It is not meant to be a protein treatment and will not provide a significant amount of protein to the hair to be classified as such.

Love this Hair Wash bar!!

Ever since I discovered PFJ hair wash bars I no longer use liquid shampoos! Not only does this Sparkling Blackberry Herbal bar smell AMAZING (and makes my hair smell good even the next day) I love how easy it suds when I use it. This has not been the case with other shampoo bar companies I have tried. I also love the minimal packaging it comes in - super environmentally friendly. I also feel that since switching over to these shampoo bars my hair feels cleaner and stays fresher for longer! Safe to say I am an absolute fan and can't go back to liquid shampoo!!

Most Amazing Smell!

I have favorite scents of PFJ but I must say sparkling blackberry is another on the list! If this was a lotion too I'd wear this scent everyday. Until then, the hair wash will do haha. I love how clean it makes my hair feel especially after taking down braids I have had in for a couple months. Since 2020 been a customer of PFJ and will forever be!
